NPR's Science Friday had Carl Sagan's widow, Ann Druyan (pronounced Dree-yen), on a few weeks ago discussing the life of her late husband. Ira Flatow, the host of the show, ran an audio clip of an interview he'd done with Carl in 1996 just before his death. Carl describes his experiences seeing the "pale blue dot" (aka Earth), from images beamed back to our planet via the Voyager space mission. Carl's thoughts are as profound today as they were 10 years ago.
