Rob, over the years, has given me some of his chapters to look over, and now, after years of simmering in the crockpot of writes, rewrites, hashes, and rehashes, he's put out his first paperback!
Disclaimer-I'm actually getting Facebook-like advertising coin to blog this today. I report, you decide...
Further disclaimer- Ok, not really, but MySpace is seriously considering giving me my own channel to crank out Youtube-ish videos at the rate of 3 per hour involving skateboard crashes (if I actually skateboarded) on school railings!
Seriously though, I think you won't be disappointed checking out his musings on life behind the lines of public and private secondary education.

Enjoy!

I would just like to say that I have read it--twice!--and it is probably both the funniest and most life-altering piece I have ever laid eyes upon. I would say that all readers of your blog need to consider buying several copies and giving them out as Bar/Bat Mitzvah gifts, even to those non-13-year-old-Jewish-kids in their lives.
Seriously, Drew, thanks for the "props" (I think that's what the kids are calling it nowadays). However, I'd like to know exactly where you got that wonderful pic of me; it is quite striking.
No problem! Got to give props where they are most due.
Yeah, I got that pic from back in the day, 2003, where Chihiro and I drove down and you drove up to Long Beach for a little dinner and catching up. You were hamming it up with Brenden at the table. Good stuff! Miss you man!
Hi Drew and Hi to you, Rob,
Just had to chime in here and say I always thought you two should have had a radio program... "Wild and crazy guys". Funny, you are.
Some of these things a mother shouldn't read...(tee hee)
Congratulations, Rob, on your book! I'm looking forward to reading it. Ok, you guys always keep your sense of humor. Proud of the synics you've become (see, I still have my sense of humor, too.)
Happy Labor Day! Yipee no work day tomorrow. As you guy, might say, "What a country!" And, I thought that pic was perhaps the one used for your book. Drew, you are a friend indeed. Just kidding. It was good to read ya'll's comments and I couldn't resist responding. Hope ya'll don't mind?
Mrs. Mather? Is that you? Great to see your comments, and thanks for the support.
Yes, that's me, Rob. You're welcome. I still owe you and Kristi many replies to your cards and pictures of those beautiful children. Have a Great School Year!
God bless...
I guess I'm making Drew's blog into a Facebook sort of thing here. I won't be butting in again.
Thanks, Rob.
Please do, Mom! :)
The more comments the merrier, and with all the advertising dollars coming my way for promoting Rob's new book, I may have time to pursue my dream of becoming the first center in the NBA at 6 feet, a buck sixty five ;)
